liffey banks traces the River Liffey from its source in the hills of Wicklow through Kildare and onward to its journey’s end in Dublin Bay. The project explores how the river reflects the unique character of each of the counties it passes through. I am using it as a thread to capture the surrounding environments on either side of the river, which includes a range of places and abandoned spaces which leave the viewer with questions but no answers. liffey banks highlights the diverse terrain the river has to navigate before it reaches the sea, providing a comprehensive view of its environmental and cultural significance while attempting to offer a deeper understanding of how the Liffey’s journey connects landscapes and communities.

Urban Echoes
Urban Echoes is an exploration of temporality, a way of representing a fascination with urban environments and their inhabitants, while also serving as a reflection on the fluidity of time within the city. The subjects photographed register their presences differently in each image.
They Call it Progress. Over the past decade, the south inner city of Dublin has undergone a transformation marked by the controversial process of gentrification. This book captures images portraying the transformation of urban landscapes, showcasing modern, towering office blocks and apartments replacing former warehouses and abandoned areas.
